Tanmay's Saga

It happened amidst the best period of our college life an act carried out by some highly skillful guys who seemed to work professionally when it comes to playing a prank. Let me give you a brief description of all the partners in crime first and the most dangerous of us all was pawan soami already a proven genius for his academic prowess he is an equally established player of this game where people often have to succumb to his atrocities and he has a very subtle way of inflicting them on others. Next is the one who wears a mask of innocence to hide what we all call notoriety if you get trapped for his innocence one thing is for sure u will start counting innocence as a vice rather than a virtue. Again he is no mug with his skills of pulling somebody’s leg but knows the game so well that he always manages to escape at somebody else’s account. That else’s was nobody else but me a common scapegoat for all his misdeeds. About myself I was an apprentice to both of them at that point of time and they were parting me knowledge about all this assuring me that what you will do today will never happen to you. Coming back to the incident we all had gone off to sleep with me tanmay and manas on one bed and pawan dada and baba on the other. I was not fully asleep when the devils made their voices ring in my ears as I got up to their continuous whispering and loud laughter which according to them was a suppressed one. They welcomed me with a warm encouraging smile and when I asked them the matter they told me about the whole plot. JKB's girlfriend was missing him a lot and unfortunately for her what a day she has chosen to miss him she was constantly calling him on his mobile. When these devils are at work things seems to be falling in place automatically JKB ki neend hi nai khuli! So she continued calling JKB on his mobile and finally pawan picked up d phone and told her that ur prince is fast asleep but no matter how hard he tries he always succumbs to the temptation of having fun at somebody else’s account. I would mention this again things were falling in place perfectly and how characteristic of them till our plan is executed they remain smooth as soon as we are done with the execution part everything goes wrong. So they asked me to call JKB girlfriend and talk to her and I wish you could hear them when they were convincing me they made me feel I was shahrukh amitabh aamir all rolled into one and I am sent on earth to perform tasks like these . now came the golden moment when I called her up and I was carefull not to speak a word as she would recognize my voice and my contribution in the whole conversation was a humming sound but yes with varying intensity and these devils were laughing away to glory. And suddenly we heard someone opening the door and we rushed through the whole affair and exactly when we needed the golden silence to dawn upon us pawan played a song on tanmay’s mobile which was sufficiently loud to set a deaf man’s feet tapping!

But finally everything was resolved and we made tanmay thank us and he was so obliged by what we did that he gave us a treat undoubtedly it is a moment none of us will forget that was the time when we forged a memory for the life time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
